At Exoto, the quest for perfection and the research required to achieve it never stops. When we first made our Grand Prix of Switzerland-winning Tipo 500 F2 (item GPC97195), everything indicated that the nose of this lovely monoposto was decorated with green and white stripes. The entire production was made this way and, being very popular, was retired quickly.
We later discovered that in 1952 the nose was actually ringed in silver! It was a fitting revelation since the nick name of the driver, Piero Tarufi, was "The Silver Fox".
And so we present this Limited Edition of just 152 pieces: "The Silver Fox"!
