The Badalassi Carlo tannery has origins reaching back to eighth century Tuscany. The tannery always kept up with the times, however, and incorporates the newest technology in the production of “Vacchetta” leather. Based in Northern Italy, not far from some of the worlds most famous automakers, Badalassi Carlo has a 40-year long specialization in vegetable tanning. They developed the Vacchetta technique, adding shinbone powder of cows to the tanning process for a unique product.
Made of genuine calfskin leather, tanned using natural methods. Treated to make it hard-wearing, and textured to produce a distinctive effect.
